Obituary for Barbara Shepley
Barbara Shepley of Hillsborough NJ passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 81.
She was a sibling of 3 born on April 14, 1939, to Francis and Helen Rozycki. She grew up in Manville NJ to later graduate from Bound Brook Highschool. Barbara worked as a registered nurse after graduating from St. Peters school of nursing. Soon after, she married Robert Shepley on September 2, 1961, and had three children. She was a girl scout troop leader in Manville along with running the neighborhood council for several years. Together, Robert and Barbara moved to Hillsborough in 1981. Once retiring, in the late 80s, she opened B+C Flowers in Hillsborough alongside her sister-in-law. In her later years, Barbara loved to play cards and scrabble with her friends and family, especially her cousins.
She never failed to light up a room and make everyone smile and laugh. Barbara cherished and loved her family like no other. Her sense of humor and sweet soul will be dearly missed by all.
Barbara is predeceased by her loving husband Robert Shepley of thirty-seven years. She is also predeceased by her beloved brother Jack Rozycki.
Barbara is survived by her three children; daughters Daryl Ball and husband Kenny of Hillsborough, Meredith Cole and her husband Jim of Blairstown, and her son Brad Shepley of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Carvin, Roth, Dana, Keira, and Ava. Her beloved sister, Patricia Bowen of Hillsborough.
