Obituary for Julia E Ajamian

Julia E. Ajamian, 88, entered eternal life on Saturday, October 31, 2020.

Born in Manville on June 18, 1932 to Polish immigrants Thomasz and Antonina Majka. She was raised in Hillsborough and resided in Bridgewater since 1974. Julia worked as a secretary for the James A. Coe Steep Company, Inc. in Raritan and a graduate of the American School in Chicago.

Julia was an avid knitter who made many sweaters, socks, blankets, hats, scarfs, and mittens for her family and friends. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking, putting together complicated jigsaw puzzles, playing checkers, playing cards (palm coast rummy), playing slot machines in Atlantic City, gathering with her family for the holidays and frequently visiting her son in Florida. With an admiration of Angels figures she owned quite an extensive collection.
Mrs. A had a mind for business and organization. She successfully managed several family owned rental properties, handled the family bills and ran the family home.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, James, in 2019; her siblings: Agness Dombrowsky, Ann Ambramski, John Majka, Chester Majka, Edward Majka, Bernice Crisologo, and Helen Bruce. Surviving are her three loving children, Deborah Fox (James) of Hillsborough, Kenneth Ajamian of Sarasota, Florida and Robyn Ajamian (Walter) of Whitehouse Station; her four cherished grandchildren, James Menendez, James Fox, Justin Menendez, and Mary Fox and her sister, Wanda Davidson of Maitland, Florida and many nieces and nephews.

A beautiful lady with a big heart will be missed by all!
