each stage of the grieving process.
Rachel Brien Pisacreta, 34, of Hillsborough, NJ, passed away on Friday November 15, 2019 at the Morristown Medical Center, her family at her side.
A celebration of Rachel’s life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 1:00-4:00 pm at the Somerville Elks Lodge 1068, 375 Union Ave, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Arrangements were under the direction of the Hillsborough Funeral Home.
Rachel is survived by her twin sister, Alyson B. Willard, the love of her life; her parents Bonnie Brien and Daniel Pisacreta; and her brother-in-law Colin Willard. Her extended family includes her grandfather Daniel Pisacreta, Sr., uncles Mark Brien and Robert Pisacreta, aunt Debbie Pisacreta, cousins Jennifer Ocasio and Stacey Brien, and sister-in-law Breanna Willard.
Rachel was born and raised in Hillsborough, NJ. She attended the Lakeview School in Edison and most recently participated at the Explores Program. Her captivating smile always at the ready, Rachel was loved by all who came in contact with her. With just her big grin and the gleam in her eyes, she spoke volumes and deployed a keen sense of humor. To spend even 10 minutes with Rachel was to be awed by the depth of her love and spirit, the strength of her personality and, most of all, her ability to make others laugh. Her happiness was infectious and so often brought people together fulfilling her life’s mission to spread joy.
Rachel loved summer camp, both Elks Camp Moore and Easter Seals Camp Merry Heart, where she connected with counselors from around the world. She also loved going to dances, listening to music, bowling with Special Olympics, and spending time with family and friends.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but we can all take solace knowing that we are better for having had her in our lives. Her legacy of love and laughter will live on in our hearts forever.
