Obituary for Ryan A Stuart

Ryan Stuart, of New Brunswick, passed away on May 23,2019. He was born in Humble, TX on March 4, 1988 and had lived in Yorba Linda, CA for six years before moving to Watchung, NJ as a first grader.

Ryan graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School in 2006 and went on to attend Rutgers University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Philosophy in 2010.

For the last 4 ½ years Ryan has been employed by JP Morgan Chase where he worked as a Performance Analyst in the Asset Management group in Brooklyn.

As a youth Ryan was an avid Little League baseball player and soccer player. In his teens, he and his friends put together a band called the Mighty Space Monkeys in which he was an excellent bass player. The band was a source of great enjoyment and a unique experience even playing the Stone Pony in Asbury Park at one time.

He took up wrestling when he got to Watchung Hills and his determination and work ethic enabled him to have a successful wrestling career and enabled him to become co-captain of the team as a senior.

Ryan maintained his passion for wrestling throughout the rest of his life attending many of the Rutgers home matches over the years as well as watching many other college matches online. When he had the time he would help coach at the middle school and high school level where his tremendous knowledge of the sport was invaluable.

Ryan was also a physical fitness enthusiast running every morning and working out on a regular basis. At the same time, he had a very sensitive soul loving his cats and all animals he encountered.

Ryan is predeceased by his Uncle, Tom Stuart, and his grandparents, Betty and Whitney Stuart and Joe and Christa Frischmann. He is survived by his beloved mother, Deborah of Somerset, by his father, Jay, and his wife Kathie of Hillsborough, and by his sister, Jessica, and her husband Amir Karimi of Minneapolis. He also leaves behind an uncle, Skip Stuart, and his wife, Joan of Annandale and another aunt, Gloria Stuart of Somerset and many, many friends from home, school and work.

Ryan was loved by all and he will be terribly missed but never forgotten.
