Obituary for Thomas J Brady IV

Thomas Joseph Brady IV was born August 30, 1967 to Tom and Marie (Barna) Brady in
Rochester, New York. His early years in Western New York gave him a lifelong love of ice
hockey, la crosse, and downhill skiing; first as a competitor and later as a fan. In high school his

family relocated to Central New Jersey were his athleticism was redirected into tennis. Tom
excelled academically to the point that he achieved early acceptance to Stevens Institute of
Technology in his junior year. He graduated from Montgomery High School in 1985 and went
on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 1989.

Throughout his life Tom had a strong work ethic. His early jobs in high school and college were as a cashier in the local grocery store and various positions for Marita’s, a Mexican restaurant. His favorite work story was refusing admittance to an under aged, Brooke Shields.

After college he found his professional passion in the field of Environmental Engineering. One
of his first jobs was for a West Trenton firm, Terra Vac. It was there that he met his friend and
wife of 24 years, Marsha (Jones) Brady. Yes, feel free to laugh about this “celebrity couple.”
One year after their marriage, Tom and Marsha welcomed their son, Thomas Joseph Brady V
(sensing a trend yet?) into their lives. Tom was immensely proud and supportive of his son’s
academic and athletic achievements. Prior to his passing he was able to see his son head off to England to pursue a Master’s degree in Real Estate Finance at Cambridge University as well as row for the Cambridge University Boat Club.

Professionally, Tom continue to flourish and thrive. He worked many years for RT
Environmental in Bridgeport, NJ under the tutelage of Gary Brown. Eventually Tom was ready
to move on to establish PT Consultants in conjunction with his business partner, Paul
Moscatello, where he remained for over ten years until shortly before his death. Tom was a
principled consultant who looked out for his clients’ welfare, thus inspiring a devoted clientele.
The ultimate New Jersey boy, Tom was a season ticket holder of the New York Giants, and an
enthusiastic fan of the New Jersey Devils and New York Mets. He enjoyed smoking bacon,
brisket, and wings. He loved his Jeeps and his dogs, Jade, Pearl, and Captain. Tom is
survived by his wife, his son, parents, and his brothers, Andrew and James. He was loved and
will be missed by many
